Decided to go up to Brock Avenue. There was this day party happening. Get this, it was a backyard show/party/BBQ with about 20 acts playing since noon. But they had to play a 10 minute set. How crazy was that? I only managed to see acts which were: Henri Fabergé Army Girls

During my Saturday afternoons. I decided to check out this unofficial NXNE event BBQ or as it was called a “Synthbeque” that took place at Milk Glass Co. The music there was very experimental. The bands I saw playing: Doom Squad Betty and Veronica Young Liars Sexy Merlin (???)
Went to the Mercury Lounge on June 28, 2012. It was part of the Up & Up Concert Series. Playing at the show was Three Little Birds.
After seeing Parlovr play at Yonge Dundas Square. I headed up to of all places, “Urban Outfitters“. They were some acts doing acoustic session. I just had to see Arts & Crafts inductees Zulu Winter.
This was the only time I got to see Montreal’s Parlovr play during NXNE. They played during the day at Yonge Dundas Square. It was a scorcher of a set.
Second night in a row I’ve been to Raw Sugar Cafe. This time it was more of a local affair. Playing at the show were Sharon Coward and Catriona Sturton. It’s almost been awhile since I last saw Catriona played live. Another decent turnout for this show.

It was a bright, hot and sunny Saturday. Went down to Yonge & Dundas Square during NXNE. I wanted to see Vancouver’s Brasstronaut play.
