Debaser‘s Pique was back for their summer edition and it was a special one because it was Arts Court open house party after the redevelopment of the building.
It was a big celebration for the arts organization to show off its new and improved facilities.
The live music part of Pique kicked off with the debut of Odaabaanag composed by Beverley McKiver and Melody McKiver
from stories of Obishikokaang (Lac Seul First Nation told by Garnet Angeconeb, Josephine King & Tom Chisel.
Pretty emotional and heavy music and performance.
Nice under the sun show with Eliza Niemi and Bucko performing experimental drone ambient music.
