Ottawa’s Fevers dropped the long awaited single called “Dance Cry Dance”.
It’s taken from the upcoming album “No Room For Light”.
The song is a fun dancey electro-pop sound and feel to it.
Also Sarah drops the S-Bomb in the song too.

Finally here is the Random Access Memories version of Get Lucky.
It’s longer and somewhat slower.
The song clocks in at around 6 minutes

I was curious to who ev ree wuhn (Pronounced “Everyone”) was.
I wasn’t aware that they used to be the defunct (?) Toronto band “Dora Alexander“.
Anyways they are going to drop their debut self-titled EP on May 14th.
The band members are:

Braids – Amends [Listen]

This is a big surprise and just got posted on Pitchfork.
The long awaited new track from Braids has come out.
Taken from In Kind // Amends 12″ single which drops on June 11th.
While the second album will come out in the fall.
What is surprising, they are on Arbutus Records (USA) & Full Time Hobby (UK/Europe), while still on Flemish Eye in Canada.
The band has gone more of a dark electro-dance route.
Similar from Blue Hawaii.
I actually like this song since it has a fun and epic dance beat to it.
So what you think of Amends?

Mood Rings – Pathos y Lagrimas [Listen]

They just dropped their single Pathos y Lagrimas.
Taken from their upcoming album VPI Harmony which drops on June 25th on Mexican Summer.
Has that slow moody summery pop-rock shoegazing chillout sound to it!

Having dropped this EP in March.
I finally got time to listen to Ottawa band Roberta Bondar‘s second EP called Hiss.
It’s the follow up to their self-titled EP which came out last year.

Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams – Get Lucky [Listen]

When the clock struck midnight on April 19th.
There was high anticipation for the new single by Daft Punk called “Get Lucky“.
Taken from the upcoming album “Random Access Memories” which drops on May 20th. (Oh! RAM! I get it! )
The song features Pharrell Williams on vocals.
Has that disco-y dance pop feel to it!
Since jumping ship to Sony/Columbia, I seem to have high hopes on it.
Considering I wasn’t impressed with their last studio album “Human After All”.
My favorite album of theirs has to be “Discovery”.

Oscar Tango – Throwing It All Away [Music Video]

Oscar Tango is a band from Toronto.
They consist of five members:

Ryan Farley – Lead Vocals and Guitars
Tristan Clark – Guitars and Back up vocals
Trevor Falls – Drums, Cymbals
Jeff Carter – Bass and Back up vocals
Nick DeToro – Tambourine, Shaker, Hand Claps

Their music has that indie rock pop sound.
Recently they did a collaboration with HeartstringsTV to make the video for Throwing It All Away.
