It’s becoming a danced filled night during the Pop Montreal showcase on June 16, 2012.
Mozart’s Sister was up next at the Garrison during NXNE.
It is the brain child of Caila Thompson-Hannant (Shapes & Sizes and Think About Life).
I’ve been a fan of her with the acts that she used to play in.
This time she is on her own.

I swear Mozart’s Sister is a mature version of Grimes @popmontreal @nxnefest

Last time I saw her was at Pop Montreal on the opening night.
The music has changed since then.
It’s more of a dancey-pop feel.
A cross between tUnE-yArDs with the whole one woman act and Grimes but more of a mature sound.
Overall I definitely enjoyed her set and danced my butt off.
Crossing my fingers she will hit it big, even the Pop Montreal people say she might be the next big hit.
Here are the rest of the photos.
