Calgary’s Raleigh played Cafe Dekcuf on May 15th.
The band played a wonderful orchestral pop rock set.
They played a mix of New Times in Black and White and tracks from their upcoming second album.
Overall it was a wonderful set!

Hope people stayed up on a Saturday to see Vampire Weekend played on Saturday Night Live?
Also the long awaited third album “Modern Vampires of the City” drops on May 14th.
Haven’t heard all of the tracks.
But I have to say the one track that stood out was the last song in the album.
It is called Young Lion.
The song clocks in at 1:45 minutes.
It’s not your typical Vampire Weekend song with it’s afro rock beats and craziness.
This is more of a gentle, mellow and piano ballad kind of song.
I just can’t stop listening to it.

Sea of Love is taken from the upcoming album “Trouble Will Find Me” which drops on May 21st.
No the song isn’t the Phil Phillips cover.
It is a cute and funny one take music video.

I was curious to who ev ree wuhn (Pronounced “Everyone”) was.
I wasn’t aware that they used to be the defunct (?) Toronto band “Dora Alexander“.
Anyways they are going to drop their debut self-titled EP on May 14th.
The band members are:
