Evening Hymns – Spectral Dusk [Review]

The first time I noticed Evening Hymns was in November 27, 2009.
Popped in Spirit Guides and was blown away with the lyrics and music.
Mostly with the songs Lanterns, Dead Deer and Cedar.
After that I have a profound sense to Jonas’s music as Evening Hymns.
After delays and being held-back(?), Spectral Dusk which is the follow up to Spirit Guides sees the light of day.
The album drops on August 21, 2012 on Shuffling Feet Records.

Evening Hymns showing lots of skin in Dead Deer [Music video]

Guessing the video is too risque to be shown on Youtube.
Great having people on Facebook with the newsfeed on the video.
Today was the release of the music video for Evening Hymn‘s Dead Deer.
Off from the 2009 album “Spirit Guides” (Review on the album).
Don’t forget the song was #13 in my Best of 2010: Singles list.
Still one of my favorites when listening.
Which is kind of bizarre that the video is out now in 2011 since Jonas mentioned in a recent Ottawa show that he is going to make a second album.
More like the video is taken the page off from Sigur Ros’s music video Gobbledigook.
Maybe it might strike a debate whenever this music video is consider art or not art.
It is beautifully shot and nice how the smoke is carefully placed on the certain body parts.
Check out the video.
WARNING: MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR YOUNGER VIEWERS DUE TO ALOT OF PEOPLE BEING NAKED.
All I can is this is one HOT video!
