May 15th was the day that Arboretum Arts Festivals announced their line up at Raw Sugar Cafe for their upcoming event on August 16 and 17.
It’s going to take place at Arts Court’s Waller Park / SAW Gallery Courtyard / St. Alban’s Church.
Tickets on sale Thursday, May 16th at Compact Music locations, Vertigo Records, Antique Skate Shop, and online at ticketweb.ca. $40 Weekend / $30 Saturday / $20 Friday.
There was a handful of people who came out and show their support.
Adam Saikaley was DJing for the event.
It was a fun time to be at.
You have to give thanks to the people at Raw Sugar Café, Kichesippi Beer and Herd Magazine for making this happen this year!

Because Arboretum Arts Festivals will be having their line-up announcement at Raw Sugar Cafe.
It is called HANG-OUT: Arboretum Line-up Announce Social.
This year’s festival will from August 16-17.
Here are the details so far:

I went to the 8th Ottawa Community Record Show that took place at St. Anthony’s Hall in Ottawa.
This time I didn’t buy anything.
Just wanted to check it out and take some photos.
I got there at around 1:30pm.
I was told when it opened at 11am it was chaotic with “record nerds” wanting to get the first copies of a certain album.
Next one will be on October 6th.

Luca Furgiuele has been a big supporter of the Ottawa Music and Film scene.
It wasn’t until February 5th when robbers stole most of his filming equipment.
With the help of friends and families, they made a Indiegogo campaign (Still time to make your donation before April 1st) to cover the lost equipment.
Now onto March 27th at the Mercury Lounge.
It was a great party and occasion to celebrate Luca’s work.

Today Ottawa’s Arboretum Music + Arts Festival had some exciting news!
They are prepping for their sophomore year and it will run for two days which is on August 16th and 17th.
The main stage will take place at Waller Park, behind Arts Court (2 Daly Avenue).
The second stage area which will be free of charge, is going to be located at the Arts Court courtyard (67 Nicholas Street).
For any bands or musicians wanting to play at this festival.
The festival is calling for musical submission.
This will run from February 26th to March 15th.

Wow February is going very fast!
Once again here is this month’s installment of the 4in1 Music Sesssion.
This time it is taking take place at Slaysh on 775 Bank Street in the Glebe.
Grab a couple friends and come check out some excellent local musicians!
