Music Singles Chart #101/102


Sorry for not having the music singles chart last week, I was in Toronto for CMW 2012.
So, here’s a double bill of the chart.
In chart #101, there was no change in the #1 spot (Cousins), but there are debuts of acts that impressed me at CMW.
In chart #102, things changed, due to the release of the new Japandroids single, which I had to make #1.
In addition, there are new debuts from Best Coast and Beach House.

Music Singles Chart #100


Wow! This is #100 on the music singles chart!
The #1 single that takes it, goes to Halifax’s Cousins with their song Jules.
Jules is taken from the upcoming album The Palm At The End Of The Mind.
There are two new debuts from Advance Bass (Formerly known as Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and D’Eon.

Music Singles Chart #99


Here is this week’s music singles chart for the week ending March 11 – 17.
It is no surprise with the new single by Beach House from the upcoming album “Bloom” out on May 15, 2012.
Everyone is all in a tizzy and which is why it is this week’s #1 song.
There are new debuts from Said The Whale and Lemonade.
Next week will be #100 and who will have the 100th #1 song?

Music Singles Chart #98


Here is this week’s music singles chart for the week ending March 4 – 10.
This week’s #1 goes to The Wooden Sky.
The band just dropped their third album “Every Child a Daughter, Every Moon a Sun” this past week.
So why not make them #1 with their song “Child of the Valley”.
Other new debuts comes from PS I Love You, they have a new single from a upcoming second album “Death Dreams”.

Music Singles Chart #97


Here is this week’s music singles chart for the week ending February 26 – March 3, 2012.
Finally after hovering in the #2 position for a couple of weeks.
Ottawa’s noise pop band Roberta Bondar makes it to #1 with their song “moon”.
If that song is not to your liking, there are a few new debuts from Gorillaz to Horse Feathers.
