The Toronto musician is currently on tour and is playing a show tonight at the NAC opening up for Colin James.
I got him to play two great acoustic songs.

Here is this week’s music singles chart for the week ending August 19 – 25.
So I had to make this #1 this week.
It goes to Dirty Beaches.
The single “Elizabeth’s Theme” is taking from Vancouver’s Kingfisher Bluez single-sided singles club.
That won’t come out until October.

It is still a few weeks left before summer is going to end.
This week’s #1 single goes to UK’s The xx.
Looks like there is high anticipation when Coexist drops on September 11, 2012.
I prefer Chained more than Angels.
There are four new debuts from Jens Lekman and Wild Nothing.

Again this year Grimes is #1 with a song from her upcoming album Visions, which drops in 2012.
This is another great synth poppy electronica track.

For those living under a rock, I went to Toronto to attend this year’s NXNE Music Festival.
This was my second time going to this and I usually have a fun time at NXNE.

I have been internet less since Wednesday.
Found out the place I am staying does not have internet.
