The Shuffle “25″

Its a trend on Facebook.
People are doing this “Shuffle 25″ and tagging friends on the note.
If you don’t know what is it.
For those music geeks, you should try out this experiment.
First rule – be honest!
Don’t keep shuffling forward for “cooler” songs.
This is a ‘getting to know you’ exercise. Once you’ve been tagged…

Turn on your MP3 player or music player on your computer.
Go to SHUFFLE mode.
Write down the first 25 songs that come up – title and artist. NO editing/cheating, please.
Choose 25 people to be tagged, including me. Because people love being tagged, even if they say they don’t.
Go to NOTES under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, enter your 25 Shuffle Songs, Tag 25 people (under the post), then click Publish.

Here is my 25 that is on my Red iPod Nano.
I know you might laugh at the songs listed.

Music Singles Chart #31

Here is this week’s music singles chart.
This week has been crazy with The Beatles on iTunes (Sorry not on the chart) and surprisingly the new Girl Talk album was out.
Also the Arcade Fire finally released the music video for The Suburbs (directed by Spike Jonze) which is a re-entry.
In the chart we have a new #1 and its a song which was revived due to X-Factor in the UK.
Its such a wonderful song by Adele and her new single just came out.
New debut is Girl Talk and I chose On and On because he used New Order’s Bizarre Love Triangle and U2′s With Or Without You which felt very nostalgic hearing it.

U2 – No Line On The Horizon (Review)

Finally got the long awaited twelfth album by U2 called No Line On The Horizon.
Its late night so I might revise this later in the day when I get a chance to fully listen to this album.
U2 being one of the biggest band in the world.

Got the U2 album.
So far I am reading that its getting good reviews by music critics.
Which are:

But do people even listen to music critics??
One bad review came from Pitchfork
But I shouldn’t take Pitchfork by its word and just take it with a grain of salt. Its mostly the news and upcoming concerts listings that I mostly check.
Time will tell if this is a hit or miss album.

Single review: U2 – Get On Your Boots

I was checking on iTunes and they have the pre-order for the upcoming U2 album No Line On The Horizon which drops on March 3, 2009
Today I decided to pre-order the “Deluxe Edition” because I wanted to get the Anton Corbijn’s film Linear.

OK I got the single Get On Your Boots.
Its very wild kind of song.
Reminds me of the song Fast Cars which was on the UK bonus track for How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
It will take me a few more listen to actually say “Wow I love it now”.
Also there is a little controversy with the album cover.
The cover is…
Hope this new album will live up to the hype that its been carrying.
I miss the old U2 from the Achtung Baby and Zooropa and abit of POP days.
