Twigs – How’s That [Music Video]

Usually I listen to Zane Lowe’s show on BBC Radio 1 on and off.
But when I heard this song that he played on Monday.
I had to play it on Tuesday night since I was guest filling in for Mixtape Sessions on CHUO FM (Click the “On Demand”).
When I heard this song by Twigs, I was so mesmerized with it’s electronica, trip-hop and somewhat dubstep music with it’s haunting vocals.
It a cross between James Blake, The xx with the vocals similar to Claire Maguire (Ain’t Nobody) & Portishead.
Here is a blurb:
Intriguing R&Bass/pop outta leftfield – a female answer to James Blake, or a darker Grimes for grown-ups.
All I know is that they are signed to Young Turks.
Going to say it!
One of the best songs I heard in 2013!!
Have a listen to How’s That
Here is their trippy music video.
Disclosure feat. Eliza Doolittle – You & Me [Music Video]

For their American release, they just dropped “The Single’s EP” on April 30th.
Which features their #2 UK hit White Noise featuring AlunaGeorge and Latch featuring Sam Smith.
Also their debut album “Settle” will drop on June 3rd.
I can’t stop listening to their current single You & Me which features Eliza Doolittle (She did that song Packed Up).

Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding – I Need Your Love [Music Video]

I know it’s a few days old but I just have to post this music video!
Finally the music video for I Need Your Love dropped.
In my opinion it is the standout track on Calvin Harris’s 18 Months and Ellie Goulding‘s deluxe version/bonus track on Halcyon.
While I am glad they finally made the music video for it.
Despite seeing alot of PDA from Ellie and Calvin.
It’s your typical glossy summer beach dance party.
Still a great song to dance to!
But anyways here is the video.
