So I attended my first Polaris Music Prize Gala 2016.
There was free food, lots of schmoozing with music people and of course the artist who was shortlisted.
The best performances, in my opinion was Basia Bulat, Andy Shauf, Carly Rae Jepsen and U.S. Girls.
Kaytranada was 2016 Polaris Music Prize winner for his album 99.9%
