There has been some talk about Toronto musician Allie Hughes.
Sadly I haven’t seen her live yet and missed out her performance at NXNE.
She will be playing with Mother Mother.
Even her name seems kind of recognizable or mysterious.
Her music is indie alternative-opera-pop.
Very bubbly and catchy when you listen to Not The Stars.
Her vocals reminds me of a mix of Nina Persson of the Cardigans and Ashleigh Ball of Hey Ocean!.
She sounds like a truly talented artist.
Can’t believe she has people backing her up one being Thom Gill of Thomas and Laura Barrett.
