Cymande, L’Rain and Syana @ L’Entrepôt 77 [Pop Montreal 2022]

I am finally back for Pop Montreal 2022!
After four years of missing out two being the pandemic it is great to be in Montreal and see what this festival can bring.
The first show to check out was at L’Entrepôt 77 which I have never been there.
Great big outdoor covered tarp space and performing that night was Cymande, L’Rain and Syana.

Cymande packed the venue with their funk, soul and reggae music.
Earlier in the night, there was a Film Pop screening of the documentary of the band.
Really a fun set.

L’Rain from Brooklyn NY was second to perform and I was glad to see this set.
Mix of neo-jazz, experimental and soul music.

Kicking off the set was Syana with some dance and technosexual music as the artist calls it.
