It was the big night and the hottest show that everyone was excited for.
Kelp Records celebrated their 20th Anniversary as Ottawa’s music label.
With that they held an amazing sold out show and party at the St. Albans Church.
Nine acts that played the church were Recoilers, The Acorn, Jim Bryson, Andrew Vincent, Evening Hymns, Chris Page, Banditas, Andy Swan and Flecton Big Sky.
After that there was a secret show/after party at the Dirty Dom (Dominion Tavern) where Hilotrons and Rhume played.
Not going in depth on the whole thing but the best highlights were:
The Acorn singing Darcy and a new song!

Jim Bryson singing Ontario and Wishes Pile Up

Andrew Vincent singing D.I.A.N.E.

Evening Hymns singing three songs from Spectral Dusk and a new song where someone in the audience beatboxed.

Hilotrons playing at the dirty Dom and had some people dancing. Also a fight broke out and Mike asking if anything is already down there. 😛

Rhume was just crazy at the dirty Dom.

Definitely a great 20 year anniversary for the label.
Hoping for more years to come!
