I was very lucky and fortunate to go down to the Blacksheep Inn and attend the second night of the sold out show with Patrick Watson.
Starting off the show was the Montreal’s Jesse Mac Cormack.
Performed a wonderful acoustic folk rock music.
It was Patrick Watson’s turn to come on stage.
This was the second night of his Love Songs For Robots tour.
Basically it was a testing ground to preview materials from the upcoming album which drops on May 12th.
Literally the whole show had me in tears.
His music is so magical and emotional.
For the classics he played Beijing and The Great Escape which he happened to forget part of the lyrics.
During the encore, Patrick and his bandmates marched down to the bar and played a wonderful song.
Overall this was one of the best shows at the Blacksheep Inn this year.
