Interesting Day 6 of RBC Ottawa Bluesfest.
Starting off with Ottawa’s Ellie Gadzos, the winner of She’s The One and is just 14 years old.
Set of electro-pop and R&B music similar to Billie Eilish (which she did a cover of My Boy) and Jessie Reyez. 6/10.
Finally got to see Crook the Kid perform at the City Stage.
Missing out his set back in February during Megaphono.
Totally killed it on the City Stage with his honest rap and hip-hop music. 8/10.
The Devil Makes Three was packed at the Bluesville stage.
The trio performed a mix of Americana folk rock music that had everyone excited. 7/10.
Caught parts of Garçons and it was a nice electro R&B and funk set. 8/10.
Yonatan Gat & The Eastern Medicine Singers performed at the City Stage.
Having missed out at that set last year during FME.
I was very glad to see the Eastern Medicine Singers part.
It was one of those set that had a mix reactions from the audience considering it was sandwiched between electro-pop and rap/hip-hop acts.
Definitely a unique set! 7/10.
Caught parts of Ziggy Alberts on the Videotron Stage.
But that time, the area was packed since the headliner at that stage was The Sheepdogs.
The Aussie musician performed a mellow folk pop set. 7/10.
The headliner for Day 6 at the festival was Logic.
The American rapper rapped & pacing back and forth on the City stage.
Currently promoting 2019’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
Logic got the small excited crowds sing to his songs.
Nice entertaining set. 7/10.
Ended the night and caught parts of The Sheepdogs.
Totally packed at the Videotron stage. 7/10.
