Studio Sixty Six held their opening for Rémi Thériault‘s No Vacancy.
He has spent the better part of the last 10 years traveling.
An ever-changing backdrop and the confines of hotel rooms are present in No Vacancy. He uses his camera as a way of translating detachment and debauchery into a raw yet revealing visual language.
Focusing on chance encounters, the randomness of locality and the absurdity of the everyday, No Vacancy at once evokes a sense of angst and release while capturing a sense of being.
The exhibition runs until December 15, 2019.
Don’t forget to do a selfie on the bed!
