Another band has jumped on the Canadian Federal Election bandwagon. I am somewhat sick of this whole election thing :P. First it was Will Currie & The Country French with Tommy Douglas. Now it’s Library Voices‘ turn. The band is signed to Nevado Records and they will be dropping a new record soon called “Summer Of Lust”. …
Tony who works doors at Zaphod Beeblebrox. He is very nice and never gives me any hassle at the shows happening there. He plays drums for the Ottawa band called The Bigmuffs. Their music is a loud, bluesy and psychedelic rock band.
Forgot to upload these photos from the April 2nd show at Zaphod Beeblebrox. Toronto’s The Wilderness was the headliner of the show. This was my first time check out this band.
After being at the Rainbow Bistro. Headed up to Zaphod Beeblebrox, to check out two Toronto bands. First was Parks & Rec. I never heard of them and it was my first time seeing them live.
It was a busy April 2, 2011 in Ottawa. Decided to hit up the Rainbow Bistro for this early show. Where the sun is shinning brightly.

The only time I saw J.J. Ipsen was my first time attending NXNE in 2009. I happen to catch his set at the Drake Hotel. Not to knowledge after NXNE 2009 ended, I didn’t know that J.J. Ispen is a ex-Ottawa native.
I haven’t been to the Black Sheep Inn in quite some time. Last time I was there was Land Of Talk on April 11, 2010. I was there to see Toronto’s Good Lovelies (Somehow I thought they were East Coast) on March 31st. There was no openers, just the band itself which is a first …
It was a Saskatchewan theme with an Ottawa band that played at Raw Sugar Cafe on March 30th. Playing were: Slow Down, Molasses The Ethics Jeans Boots
