On August 21th I attended the OIFF‘s Music Video challenge at Babylon Nightclub. It was the music video challenge where musicians and filmmakers come up and make great music videos. Which was voted by a panel of four judges. This year there was no fan favorites for voting. The winner this year is:

I attended a DIY zine launch on June 19, 2011. The zine is called Static Zine and it is a collective lifestyle and arts zine run out of Toronto. The first issue came out during NXNE. The free event took place at two different places.
Ottawa’s Kelp Records is turning 17 this year. It’s becoming an yearly event for myself to see what Kelp Records has in store for their celebration in the music scene. This year’s event coincides with CHUO‘s Funding Drive.

This week (Sept 29-Oct 3) I will be attending the 9th annual Pop Montreal Festival. This year’s line-up is eclectic from previous years. But there are great acts that you should definitely see this years. Here is a list for the week (It might change during the course at the Festival)
