For the first show of the first night of CMW 2012, I headed to the Drake Hotel.
There’s something about that venue I like, and it was Pop Montreal‘s showcase, so it was an easy decision to make.
I was there to see three of the acts that played, the first being Toronto’s The Weather Station.
This was the first time seeing Tamara with a backing band, from which were members of Bruce Peninsula.
Last time I saw her, she played solo.
It was an amazing set. She played mostly from the album “All of it Was Mine”.
I have to say that venue has the best sound, and she sounded great.
A wonderful set!
