The Balconies with Sandman Viper Command and The Dirty Mags

The Balconies @ Mavericks
I wasn’t aware that this show was on Friday the 13th. To me it’s just like an other day.
But for those who went to this show at Mavericks, it was a great homecoming show for The Balconies.
Even the rain didn’t stop people from attending this show.

Sorry for the quality of the video.

The show started off with The Dirty Mags.
This was my first time seeing them live.
They had that dirty grungey rock sound.
Almost similar to like The Strokes (mostly from the looks of the lead singer) or a wild version of the Rolling Stones.
Truly a loud and rocking set.

Second was Sandman Viper Command.
I forget how many times I’ve seen them live.
They never disappoint live.
The band is definitely improving with their set.
Surely had a rocking time!

Lastly it was The Balconies.
The band hasn’t played in Ottawa since the Big Money Shot.
The show was suppose to be their 7″ release but due to the production delay, the single wasn’t ready for the shows.
It was a solid tight set.
They sang about 19 songs overall.
Some new tracks that will be on the upcoming album.
It was a fun and wild show.
A wild hair show to say the least.
Here are the rest of the photos.
