Wayfinding – Hiro Up From The Woodshop [Music Video]

Today the Edmonton band Wayfinding dropped the music video for Hiro Up From The Woodshop.
The band consisting of Cassia Hardy (Wares), Ryan Beattie (Chet and Himalayan Bear), Marek Tyler and Matthew Cardinal (both from nêhiyawak).
The second single is taken from their upcoming self-titled debut EP which comes out on April 21, 2023 via Victory Pool.
A haunting and deep alternative tune.

About the track:
“Hiro Up From The Woodshop is a friend I had who made furniture in a workshop adjacent to a wooded cabin I used to live in,” says Beattie.
“I had a studio set up there and he’d come up to use the kitchen occasionally and we’d hang out and drink wine. He died suddenly a year or so later, while house sitting at the same cabin.
I wrote this song about him because I sometimes think about him and how reverent he was.”
