Bruised Tongue and Manx Pub presented a lovely free show featuring Calgary’s Astral Swans.
I was very excited for this show.
Recently Astral Swans was signed to Madic Records, which happens to be own by Dan Mangan.
Anyways the whole show was very nice and intimate with his blend of indie lo-fi alterna-pop music.
Previewed some new tracks and sang from his current 7″ single which was You Carry a Sickness and Park Street.

I was very surprised that Matt told me he got a message from Dan Mangan.
He wanted to say hi to me!
I was like “OMG! (technically I swore :P) and tell him I said hi back!”
Very surprised that he still knows who I am and made my night! 😛
