Axé WorldFest presented their 2nd edition of Women in Music & Arts at the National Arts Centre.
About the conference:
The conference brings together performers, cultural workers, journalists, content creators, visual artists, and fans to showcase local and national women in the industry.
The Women in Music & Arts Conference is designed to encourage new business and artistic relationships, to forge and nurture networks, and to create new opportunities through events, discussions, meetings, showcases and panels.

The conference began with the panel called Artistic Practices for IBPOC.
Moderated by Jessica Ruano who is the community program director of MASC.
The speakers were: Claudia Salguero, Kseniya Tsoy and Marisa Gallemit.
