chemical club – Year of Sundays [Music Video]

Today, the Ottawa-based act Chemical Club released the lyrical music video for their latest single, “Year of Sundays,” via Arts & Crafts.
The song is a captivating blend of indie and lo-fi synth-pop that beautifully showcases the band’s unique sound.
“Year of Sundays” highlights Chemical Club’s ability to fuse introspective lyrics with melodic, synth-driven arrangements, creating an immersive listening experience that stands out in the contemporary music scene.

About the track by Chemical Club:
“written during a period of aimlessness, ‘Year Of Sundays’ is about the in between we all experience between adolescence and adulthood, where figuring out your next move feels do or die.
Knowing that you’re unhappy where you are, but not knowing where you want to be.
A demo of this song from 2019 was uncovered, and so we finished this past year.
Working on this song felt special as we were able to view our younger perspective through an older lens.”
