I had a better time on the second night of CityFolk Festival.
Headlining the main stage was Canada’s favourite rock band Arkells.
Trying to get the audience partying and dancing to their music.
The only track from their upcoming album Laundry Pile was Skin the rest was all the fun popular hits like 11:11, People’s Champ, Leather Jacket and of course my favourite was Oh, The Boss Is Coming.
While I felt their energy level this time was around 60% and I felt the sound was not that loud when I went on the hill to get a overview shot.
Maybe it was the cold fall air that could affect it.
Not sure why this artist had to play the Courtside Stage but it was so great to see The Tallest Man on Earth.
Kick off the set with a solo acoustic set which pulled on people’s emotional heartstrings then the full band came on for the second song.
By after the third song, the audience got up of their seat and it was a show!
Dad rocking at the main stage was Gov’t Mule.
Finally got to see Ruby Waters for the first time.
Montreal band RedFox was a nice folk pop rock set.
Claire Coupland kicked off with some acoustic folk music.
