“The Mandala Project: 40 Distillations of the Universe”
The mandala is a symbol that represents the universe originating in Hindu and Buddhist religious tradition. In everyday use ‘mandala’ has become a term for a diagram that depicts the cosmos. In 2011, Being (H’art) artists began working with the motif of the mandala and created paintings reimagining the symbol. Recently, new artists to the studio have added their interpretations to the collection. The resulting show provides a window into the history of the studio and a survey of 40 different perspectives on the cosmos.
5:30-6:00: Annual General Meeting (AGM)
