Join SPAO Centre on November 1st for SPAO’s Annual Open House and the opening reception of the 2019 Lineage Exhibition, “O Human Child.”
Open House is the SPAO Centre’s largest event of the year. This year, SPAO is highlighting the union between photo and text.
“O Human Child,” presents work by Canadian photo-based artist, Vera Saltzman, an alumna of the SPAO diploma program. The exhibition is inspired by W.O. Mitchell’s, “Who Has Seen the Wind,” an iconic novel set in Saskatchewan.
Open House will be the official debut of SPAO’s newly completed photo book library. To celebrate, a special Book Market has been organized where visitors can purchase photo books featuring the work by SPAO’s extended community. Visitors can also see the text-inspired work by current diploma students, tour our facilities and learn about SPAO Centre programming.
“O Human Child,” is open to the public from November 1st until December 12th. See you there!
