FME 2019 [Day 3]

Third day of FME began by checking out this new outdoor mini stage by the lake called Guinguette chez Edmund.
Performing at the afternoon show was a Belgium electro and hip-hop band called Glauque.
The 5 à 7 shows, the acts that I saw was 2019 Polaris Music Prize shortlist nominee Dominique Fils-Aimé at the Paramount and rockers The Flamingos Pink at Bar Le Groove.
Dominique Fils-Aimé sang a wonderful cover of Strange Fruit and Feeling Good, if there is a chance she might win this year’s Polaris Music Prize because of that voice, it will be a big surprise!
Second night in a row, I spent outside at the main stage for the hip-hop/rap show with FouKi, Alaclair Ensemble and Koriass.
Caught the last two songs which was Full Circles and a cover from Half Moon Run.
Entering L’Agora des Arts was a sauna since my glasses fogged up.
It was night two of their show and it was a packed crowd for their indie pop rock music.
Heartstreets did a 11pm outdoor set which had the audience dance to their electro-pop and hip-hop music.
Motherhood who I hadn’t seen in awhile performed their indie garage rock music at Cabaret Dernière Chance.
After them was 2019 Polaris Music Prize shortlist nominee Fet.Nat.
Nice to see them packed that venue and have the audience dance to their music.
Then over at Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Noranda I caught most of Atsuko Chiba and …And You Will Know Us by The Trail of Dead.
