Today the Toronto-based musician Peter Sagar who goes by HOMESHAKE has dropped the music video for Basement.
The second single is taken from HOMESHAKE’s upcoming album of the same name which comes out on March 8, 2024 via Dine Alone Records.

Basement is an homage to the idea of the home basement, both as a place to hang out along with being the starting point for every band Peter has played in since he was a teenager.
The video for “Basement” was shot by Jim Larson (who also directed the video for lead single “CD Wallet”) and features kaleidoscope-like images of Peter playing instruments in the basement among all the common artifacts you might find there.
It’s a place of refuge and comfort and the fount of creativity for Peter.
