Axenéo7 held the fifth performance of La pomme par laquelle je bois, a collaborative work by Maude Arès, Simon Labbé, and Erin Hill.

This performative installation explores and celebrates material modes of existence, shifting the focus away from human performers and onto the objects themselves. At the center of the space hangs a large mobile, gently animating the room, while beneath it sits a tableau-like table. Some materials rest on its surface, while others are suspended midair, creating a delicate balance between stillness and motion.
What unfolds is not a performance driven by people, but by the quiet choreography of materials—subtle, contemplative, and unexpectedly captivating. It’s the kind of work that invites you to slow down and reconsider how presence and movement can exist beyond the human body.
Following the performance, the evening transitioned into Micro-concert #4, featuring Pierre-Luc Clément, Linsey Wellman, and Scott Warren.
The trio delivered an engaging set of improvised jazz, offering a lively and fitting contrast to the meditative installation that preceded it.
