It was an insane May 1, 2010. One of a few shows that I attended in Ottawa.
First stop was Zaphod Beeblebrox.
It was a day festival called May Whee!
The acts that played were Sunparlour Players, Snailhouse, Rolf Klausener, Leif Vollebekk and That’s The Spirit.
The only act I manage to see were:
- Leif Vollebekk
- That’s The Spirit
I got there.
They were showing this movie called Smash Cuts.
It was interesting to see Mike Dubue (aka Micheal Dubue as it was shown in the credits) of the Hilotrons do some acting.
Its a gory bloody film.
That’s The Spirit played a great set.
Leif was truly amazing and he had his backing band this time.
Must been the first time that I’ve seen him play at Zaphods.
I love hearing 1921 live. As I requested him to play that song.
