Moving Carbon is a new exhibition at Seven Below Gallery.
Featuring the works of Stephen Frew.
The title of the show refers to both the carbon-based materials used in the prominent line work, as well as the subjects themselves who are carbon-based. The subjects are still, even introspective, but built from expressive lines that bring movement and life to the image. The result is intended to elicit emotion, thus moving the viewer.
