I spent most of my night at Le Divan Orange during Pop Montreal 2012.
It was part of the POP Montréal, Evenko and Halifax Pop Explosion showcase.
The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! was the first act to play.
I hadn’t seen them play since last year in Ottawa.
It was surely a good time and wanted to say hi to Neil at the show.
They played Ottawa the night before and heard it was wildly received.
I didn’t know that the band is signed to Luaka Bop which is David Byrne’s record label.
All I ahve to say for this set was it was a wild fun dance party.
I like to call him the American version of Rich Aucoin.
The set is more outrageous with costumes, props and even a purple parachute.
There was even a human train line!
Definitely had a fun time dancing and singing to the music.
