Side by Side Weekend 2025 [Night 1]

Ottawa’s hottest independent music festival, Side By Side Weekend 2025, made a triumphant return, and Friday night at Club SAW was nothing short of electrifying.




Known for its dynamic energy and artistic edge, the venue came alive with both indoor and outdoor performances, offering an immersive experience that captured the spirit of the city’s DIY scene.
The first night featured a stacked lineup of diverse and genre-pushing acts, including Dark Room, Lady Grey and the Phantoms, Cootie Catcher, Neurotypes, Bucko, Dielectric, Victime, and Slash Need.


From fuzzed-out punk and synth-laced dance music to jangly power pop and moody post-punk, the night delivered a genre-hopping showcase of some of the most exciting independent acts from across the region and beyond.
