Last week I went down to Toronto for Canadian Music Week 2018.
I hadn’t attended that festival in about 5 years.
So it was due time that I need to see what this year’s edition had.
On Thursday night, I stayed at the Horseshoe Tavern for Sleepless Record‘s showcase.
The acts that I saw were Sunshine & the Blue Moon, Shade, Kandle and the big one July Talk!
Second time seeing the psych-rock band Sunshine & The Blue Moon.
At least I got their whole set since I missed part of it during Megaphono.
Shade reminded me of Oasis in the veins of Definitely Maybe era.
The way the lead singer dress, swaggered and play the tambourine.
Not it was a homage or a tribute.
Kandle was a wonderful to see live.
Mix of indie retro pop rock music.
Then ended my night with July Talk.
They were the secret (not so secret) guest to perform.
Alot of the superfans came out to see them.
Why not see this band in a smaller intimate venue.
The band sure puts on an entertaining show which got people singing out loud and dancing!
