Recently the Montreal musician Arielle Soucy dropped the music video for Ottawa.
A lovely Francophone acoustic roots folk pop tune which doesn’t reference Ottawa at all.
I think this is an artist to look out this year.

The clip is a bit of a documentary representing my occupations when I am at my summer trailer, a peaceful place where everything is calm, slow, possible.
This visual is a support for the themes of the song related to loneliness and the simple occupations of everyday life, but also the representation of a way of taking one’s power during a breakup by concentrating on oneself, by doing things that make good, which are difficult, new, advancing as best they can, building up.
