Casper Skulls – Dying in Eight Verses [Music Video]

Today the band Casper Skulls dropped their music video for Dying In Eight Verses.
The third single is taken from the band’s upcoming album Kit-Cat which is set for release on April 11, 2025 via Next Door Records.
A moody soul baring alterna-rock tune.

About the track by Casper Skulls:
Casper Skulls explore the art of storytelling in song.
Inspired by the lyric-driven, narrative work of Bob Dylan, Casper Skulls’s Neil Bednis set out to write a song composed of a series of verses, maintaining musical interest with a great hook and novel musical elements.
The personal and confessional song reflects on birth, ageing and death, seeing Bednis muse on his relationship to his family of origin and his new-born child.

Speaking more about the track, Neil shares:
“The song was written before Mel and I had our baby but I think I could feel that I was ready to be a father when I wrote this song. I think this is my most personal song and I can’t help but think of my grandparents, my parents, my wife and my daughter when I hear it. I think there’s a lot of sadness in the song but also so much hope. ”
