Playing at Mavericks were Diana, Silkken Laumann and Black Usher

The show started off with Black Usher.
They are a Ottawa act that came out of this year’s Ottawa Rock Lottery.
For those that missed it out, this was the second time to see them. It was a mix of indie pop and hip-hop music. A very fun and entertaining set.

Second was Ottawa’s Silkken Laumann.
What was cool is that they are a four piece now.
They got Gary of Roberta Bondar to play bass.
It was a fun set to dance to their music.
Funny to see Adam jumping during the whole set.
Don’t forget that they will be playing NYE at Babylon.

Finally it was Diana’s turn.
I couldn’t resist to see them for a fourth time this year.
It was almost the same set from when I saw them at Pop Montreal a few weeks ago.
This time the Ottawa folks sure know how to dance to their music.
