House of Paint kicked off their 10th Anniversary with the start of Ottawa Grand 500 Poetry Slam at Babylon Nightclub.
The slam structure is highly engaging and uses a head to head format that sees 12 poets compete in three rounds of slamming with the first two rounds being judged by the ENTIRE AUDIENCE and the last round uses four celebrity judges to determine a champ.
The event started off with D’bi Young and Array of Words.
Then the competition started and it was vast of interesting poets conveying their unique poetry.
I didn’t stay to find out who won.
