Ferriswheel and Musk Ox @ Raw Sugar Cafe

It was a nice Friday evening for instrumental music.
Playing at the Raw Sugar Cafe were:

• Ferriswheel




• Musk Ox

I’ve seen Musk Ox alot when they play live in Ottawa.
So they need no introduction.
Just that their set is always amazing with a blend of instrumental experimental music.
As Nathanaël Larochette calls their music a epic journey.

Ferriswheel was up.
If you don’t know this band is from Montreal.
The member consisted of:

• Mathieu Charbonneau (wurlitzer, synth)
• Simon Trottier (acoustic guitar, lapsteel, autoharp)
• Philippe Charbonneau (Double Bass)
• Olivier Fairfield (Drums)

Mathieu is in other bands like Torngat and The Luyas.
Simon plays with Timber Timbre.
Very excited to see this band because of the band members.
It was a great set and I totally loved their music.

Overall it was sort of a nice evening.
The turnout was insane at Raw Sugar Cafe.
Nice to see people sitting on the floor.
