Montreal’s No Joy played their first Ottawa show at Cafe Dekcuf on September 13th.
Ottawa was the first stop of their North American fall tour.
Very surprising that they would pick Ottawa as their starting point.
Last time I saw them was two years ago at Pop Montreal.
They played a loud shoegazing set of their music.
The band was promoting their current album “Wait to Pleasure”.
I knew I wasn’t expecting from what they sounded like on the album.
It was loud and heavy shoegaze rock to it.
But I really enjoyed their set alot!
