Ottawa Jazzfest 2026 [Day 5]

After a two-day break, Ottawa Jazz Festival returned in full swing on Wednesday night with an eclectic mix of funk, soul, and jazz.
Opening the main stage was Montreal’s The Plastic Waste Band, who set the tone for the evening, while New Orleans outfit Galactic — joined by Jelly Joseph — closed things out with a high-energy set that had the audience dancing.

Over at the Elgin St. Stage, MA:Q kicked off the night with a beautiful jazz set.

Later, the late-night show which was co-presented by Axé Worldfest.
The crowd was treated to a performance from London-based seven-piece Kokoroko, whose blend of Afrobeat, soul, and jazz had everyone dancing right through to the end of Wednesday night.
