Toronto band Pony have just released the music video for “Swallowing Stars.”
The track marks the fifth single from their upcoming album Clearly Cursed, due out February 13, 2026 via Take This To Heart Records.
Glimmering with nostalgia, the song leans into a ’90s-tinged synth-driven alt-rock sound that feels both dreamy and immediate.

“Swallowing Stars” is about being caught in the crosshairs of a relentless people pleaser. Drinking in every beautiful word they say, as if it wasn’t just a reflection of your own thoughts and ideas, and the ultimate letdown when you finally see behind the curtain.
It’s like the scene in The Wizard Of Oz when the giant animatronic wizard’s head stops working and a little insecure man walks out from behind it.
