I went to the first of two shows at the Bronson Centre Music Theatre featuring PUP and Snotty Nose Rez Kids, and it was a wild night from start to finish.
Toronto’s PUP are nearing the end of their world tour in support of their fifth album, Who Will Look After the Dogs? and they absolutely did not disappoint.
Their set was a blast of loud, cathartic indie rock and punk, packed with sing-along moments and plenty of moshing.
The band was genuinely grateful for the Ottawa crowd, and the audience returned that energy right back.

Opening the night were Snotty Nose Rez Kids, who delivered a high-energy set of powerful, charismatic Indigenous hip-hop that instantly fired up the room.

Overall, it was a fantastic Saturday night.
