Day 7 of RBC Ottawa Bluesfest.
The thunder storm cancelled four of the acts one being DJ Pauly D.
After 6pm the skies cleared out and the show went on.
American rapper LeiKeli47 kicked off at the Videotron stage.
Concealing her face with a bandana, her performance was insanely dynamic. 7/10.
There was some buzz to check out Brandon “Taz” Niederauer.
At just 15 years old, the New York artist literally shredded the guitar like the Tasmanian devil, hence the nickname Taz. 8/10.
Country time at the City stage with Gone West featuring Colbie Caillat.
Mix of easy breezy country pop music. 7/10.
Definitely a gong-show at Videotron stage with Murda Beatz. 6/10.
Shakey Graves filled up the Bluesvilles tent with his folk rock and Americana music.
Only got the part where he was performing a solo which was very intimate. 8/10.
Ending the night was American country singer Kane Brown.
Very entertaining set and all I remember hearing the song Deep End that went “Skinny dippin’ in the deep end, deep end”. 6/10.
