Today, Montreal psych-rock band The Besnard Lakes dropped the music video for Our Heads, Our Hearts on Fire Again.
The third single is taken from their new album called The Besnard Lakes Are The Last of the Great Thunderstorm Warnings which is set for release on January 29, 2021 via Flemish Eye in Canada, Fat Cat Records in the USA and Full Time Hobby in the UK/EU.
This is an epic dreamy hazy psych-rock tune and the music video makes it so trippy while listening to it.
About the track and music video:
“The track started as an Oggy Film Song.
A skeletal version of the song had been in the Besnard vault for several years after we initially rejected it for a film soundtrack.
It went through a couple drafts before we tore it apart, rejiggered some parts and resurrected it to its new form. The song is an ode to logic and intuition and being able to learn from the past.”
