Up until May 30, 2026, Gallery 101 is presenting the ceiling of our sky, a powerful solo exhibition by Rana Nazzal Hamadeh.

The exhibition brings together a compelling series of works that examine the control of both land and body in the context of mass detention and the expanding reach of carcerality in Palestine and beyond.
Moving across different scales—from the intimacy of the human body to the vastness of land—the works explore how captivity is experienced, embedded, and resisted.

At the opening, Hamadeh was in attendance, offering thoughtful insights into the installation and the meanings behind each piece.
Hearing directly from the artist added an extra layer of depth to the experience.

Overall, it was a moving and inspiring exhibition—one that lingers with you long after you leave. Highly worth checking out.
