This was my first time attending a show at the Shenkaman Arts Centre in Orleans.
All I have to say is, this is one nice venue and the seats are very comfortable.
I was there to see the Good Lovelies play.
It was their beginning of their “Have A Merry Christmas”.
Ottawa was the first stop in their 9 day Ontario tour.

I was surprised to see Ben Whiteley who plays in New Country Rehab and sometimes with Basia Bulat.
The last time I saw them was back in March at the Black Sheep Inn.
Simply the band is amazing live and seem to captivate the audience.

This being their third annual Christmas tour.
They played some great Christmas/holiday tunes like The Chipmunk Song, Silent Night and Auld Lang Syne.
To some of their original Christmas songs like Hurry Home and Maybe This Time.
They play non holidays song from their album Let The Rain Fall which came out this year.

Simply an amazing set they put on, the audience was very attentive and each members seem to put a great stage story/banter.
Great to see the band have a great supporting fanbase.

Before their set, I got to do a short interview with the Good Lovelies with Ben Whiteley and Christine Bougie.
Listen to the interview.
